Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/amethyst

Free, open-source tiling window manager for macOS that arranges windows into layouts for you.

For people who find automatic tiling too rigid, alternatives to Amethyst snap windows by dragging or with shortcuts and save layouts. Others go the other way and tile with a text config for finer control over every rule.
