OpenAI's AI assistant for answering questions, writing, coding and working with files, with a Mac app.

ChatGPT keeps you on OpenAI's models, and its best features sit behind a paid plan. Alternatives give you other models in the same window, chat apps that run on your own API keys, or local models that keep every conversation on your Mac.
