# 1 Drafts alternative for Mac

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/drafts

Quick-capture text app that opens to a blank note and sends text on to other apps with actions.

Drafts is built for catching text fast, not for keeping a tidy archive. Alternatives lean toward organizing notes in folders or tags, linking ideas together, or working on Windows and Android, with fewer actions to set up.
