# 1 Find Any File alternative for Mac

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/find-any-file

File search for Mac that looks by name, date and size on any disk, including hidden files.

Searching without an index can take a while on a big disk. Alternatives to Find Any File use an index so results appear as you type, add saved searches and smart filters, or search inside documents and mail.
