# Forest Alternative for Mac: An App Like Forest

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/forest

Focus timer that grows a virtual tree while you stay off distracting apps and sites.

Forest turns focus into a game with trees and coins. Alternatives on the Mac skip the game and simply block sites and apps, run a plain timer in the menu bar, or log your sessions to show where your time went.
