# 1 LuLu alternative for Mac

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/lulu

Free, open-source firewall for Mac that blocks unknown outgoing connections until you allow them.

LuLu is focused on blocking, without the maps, traffic graphs or detailed rule sets some people want. Alternatives add those, show data use per app, or let you block apps only on certain networks such as a phone hotspot.
