# 1 NetNewsWire alternative for Mac

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/netnewswire

Free, open-source RSS reader for Mac, iPhone and iPad that syncs through iCloud or feed services.

NetNewsWire is free and made for the Mac, but it keeps things simple on purpose. People look elsewhere for more layout choices, read-later and filtering features, or a reader that also runs on Windows or Android.
