# 1 Plash alternative for Mac

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/plash

Wallpaper app that turns any website, such as a dashboard or calendar, into your desktop background.

Plash is free and puts one website behind your desktop. People who want more look at apps that play videos or animated scenes as wallpaper, rotate photos through the day, or place live widgets on the desktop instead.
