# Typora Alternative for Mac: An App Like Typora

Canonical page: https://macbase.app/alternatives/typora

Markdown editor that shows formatted text as you type, with no separate preview pane.

Typora was free during its beta and is now paid, which is why many people look around. Alternatives are free and open source, keep notes in a linked library, or show a separate preview for those who like to see the Markdown.
