## About

Anchor is a free, open-source download manager for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later. It handles regular browser downloads, torrents, magnet links, and videos from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other sites, with support for playlists, subtitles, and selective torrent files.

Built in Swift, Anchor uses up to 16 connections per file, supports pause and resume, retries failed downloads, and offers speed limits and schedules. Its menu bar panel shows live progress and speed, while keyboard shortcuts, browser integration, and automatic cleanup keep downloads easy to manage.
