## About

Attic is a Mac menu bar app that moves old screenshots, screen recordings, downloads, and selected leftovers into a folder on your Mac. Screenshots are organized by month, while installers and other downloads follow separate age-based rules. Files still downloading are left alone.

Attic moves files instead of deleting them, with one-click restore, whole-sweep undo, Quick Look, search, and a Keep tag for files that should stay put. It works locally without uploads, an account, or in-app analytics, and can also monitor storage used by AI coding tools. Attic runs on macOS 14 or later.
