## About

FirstTake is a Mac video editor with a built-in agent that turns plain-language ideas into finished films. It writes scenes, selects models, generates video, voices, music and titles, checks continuity, and exports an MP4 on your Mac.

Projects remain ordinary local files, with keys stored in Keychain. Every paid generation step shows its model and estimated cost before running, while generation is billed separately through your own provider account. FirstTake also connects to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents through an MCP server.
