## About

NTFSTool lets Mac users copy, move, rename and delete files on Windows-formatted NTFS drives directly in Finder. Drives mount automatically after enabling the app in System Settings, while drives left in a hibernated or partially shut-down state are mounted read-only to protect data.

Built with macOS’s native FSKit framework, NTFSTool uses no kernel extension, password, reboot or lowered security settings. Its Disk Utility–style window shows drive capacity and read/write status, with one-click safe eject. The free Mac App Store edition requires macOS 15.6 or later; NTFSTool Pro adds disk tools and supports macOS 12 or later.
