Layout
Switch projects, not windows

About Layout
Layout gives each project on your Mac its own workspace. Launching one opens the editor on the project's folder, starts its terminal commands, such as a dev server, opens its browser tabs, and places its windows in zones on each display. One shortcut, the ⌥Tab switcher or a trackpad swipe moves between projects: the other projects' windows step aside, and this one's come back where they were, without macOS Spaces or their animation.
Your apps switch with you: Claude's Code tab and Codex open the project's latest chat, and Slack its channel. When a Claude Code, Codex or Cursor agent in another project finishes or needs you, a card says so, with a shortcut to the exact session and Allow or Deny for Claude Code's and Codex's permission requests. Save a workspace's apps and arrangement as a template for the next project, or let the guided setup turn the projects Claude and Codex know into workspaces.
Layout is built in Swift, runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple silicon and Intel, and is notarized by Apple. It moves windows with the Accessibility permission and never records the screen. No account, no telemetry. Try it free for 14 days, then pay once for up to two Macs, with free lifetime updates.
