The MacBase badge
Put it on your app’s website and your listing gets a check mark and a followed link back to your site. Without it, the link is nofollow.

</a>This code links to a placeholder page. The code for your own app, linking to its page, is on your listing: open it from your dashboard.
What a verified listing gets
A check mark
On your app’s page and wherever it’s listed: in its category, in search, on the home page.
A followed link to your site
Verified listings link to their website with a dofollow link. Unverified listings get a nofollow link, so there’s no backlink without the badge.
Reviewed first
Verified listings go ahead of the others in the review queue, and they show in the Verified filter.
How it works
- 1
Copy the code from your listing and put it on your app’s website, on the home page or in the footer. Any page that links to macbase.app will do.
- 2
Press “Check my site” on your listing. MacBase reads the page, finds the link, and marks the listing verified right away.
- 3
Keep it there. MacBase looks again every week; if the badge goes, you get an email and a week to put it back before the check mark and the followed link come off.
