About LocalEditor
LocalEditor is a local Mac workspace for notes, sketches, and coding projects. It opens folders or individual files directly, so Markdown, HTML, code, and configuration files stay in their existing locations and update live as agents work.
The app combines formatted Markdown editing, readable views for config files, live HTML previews, Canvas for wireframes and diagrams, Scratchpad notes, and ⌘K search across projects. MCP connects agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, with configurable access to local folders and files.
