LocalInbox

LocalInbox is a native Mac email app for Gmail, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo, AOL, Zoho, GMX, Proton Mail (through Proton Mail Bridge) and any IMAP account. It brings every account into one inbox and sorts mail into categories such as Primary, Updates, Promotions and To Reply, plus categories you describe yourself. Its AI runs on your Mac, with Apple Intelligence or a model server you run locally such as Ollama or LM Studio, so no AI cloud reads your mail. It summarises messages, suggests replies, answers questions about your mailbox with numbered sources, searches text inside image and PDF attachments, surfaces sign-in codes and explains why a message looks like phishing. It runs on macOS 15 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs; the AI features need Apple Intelligence (macOS 26 on Apple silicon) or a local model server. There's a 7-day free trial with every feature, then a one-time licence.
