About Orange
Orange is a free file converter that runs locally on your Mac, without uploads, accounts, subscriptions, or limits. It supports 55 input types across images, audio, video, PDFs, documents, slides, spreadsheets, subtitles, and archives.
The menu bar app uses a drag-and-drop wheel: drag a file, hold Shift, and release it over a format. Batch conversion, keyboard controls, haptic feedback, Finder actions, and a small progress panel keep conversions out of the way. macOS 13 Ventura or later is required.
