About Ribbon
Ribbon arranges Mac windows side by side on a long, scrollable strip. Each window gets a full-height column, so opening more windows does not shrink or overlap the others. Move through the strip with a three-finger swipe, keyboard shortcuts, or the floating strip map.
It is built for people who prefer scrolling layouts over traditional tiling or snapping. Ribbon supports per-display strips, configurable widths, floating windows, app placement rules, drag-to-reorder, mouse focus, scripting through ribbon:// links and commands, and restoring the layout after relaunch. It requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and Apple silicon.
