About Turingly
Turingly is a native macOS simulator for students, educators, researchers, and computer science enthusiasts exploring Turing machines. It visualizes the tape and read/write head, shows state changes, and supports both cycle-by-cycle stepping and continuous execution with adjustable speed.
An interactive transition table editor helps create and validate custom machines, while 40 built-in algorithms cover arithmetic, bitwise logic, formal languages, tape manipulation, and classic theoretical problems. Turingly also includes offline learning articles, machine notes, JSON import and export, keyboard shortcuts, VoiceOver support, Dark Mode, and fully offline operation without accounts or tracking.
