About Fortify: App Lock
Hand someone your Mac without handing over your messages or your browser history 😏
Fortify locks the apps you choose behind Touch ID or a 4 or 6 digit PIN. When someone opens a locked app, it's covered right away and a small unlock card drops down from the notch. Nothing shows through, even in full screen or on another desktop.
Lock anything: Messages, WhatsApp, Mail, your browser, Notes, System Settings, even web apps. Fortify locks them again by itself when you minimize, hide or close them, or when your Mac sleeps. Press ⌃⌘L to lock the app you're in, or choose Lock All from the menu bar.
Free and open source. No account, no analytics and no network access at all.
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Works on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
