About Mac2FA
Mac2FA is a free, open-source authenticator for macOS that generates two-factor TOTP codes locally. It imports Google Authenticator migrations, standard otpauth:// links, QR images, and Base32 secrets, with account data stored in the macOS Keychain instead of a cloud service.
Search accounts by issuer or label and copy a current code with a click, keyboard shortcut, or Return. A countdown ring shows when codes rotate, while support for SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512, six to eight digits, and flexible periods covers a broad range of providers. The native SwiftUI app runs on Intel and Apple silicon Macs.
