About Halo
Halo turns your MacBook notch—or the top edge of any display—into a live hub for notifications, dictation, music, calls, meetings, files, timers and more. Messages from apps such as Slack, Mail and Telegram appear in the island, while holding Fn lets you dictate into the app under your cursor.
It also shows Claude Code and Codex activity, offers a small animated Buddy, controls music and external-monitor brightness, and provides a focus timer, calendar details, downloads and screenshot access. Halo runs without an account and supports Mac computers with Apple silicon or Intel processors running macOS 15 Sequoia or later.
