About Vitals
Vitals is a Mac system monitor that shows apps, not processes. Activity Monitor lists a thousand of them; Vitals groups them into the apps they belong to and shows each app's CPU, memory, energy, disk, network and GPU, with up to a year of history, so "what was slowing the Mac yesterday at 3 pm?" has an answer. It lives in the menu bar too, with CPU, memory, disk, network, battery, temperature, fans, sound and Bluetooth one click away.
For developers, it lists every project running on the Mac with its ports, containers and memory, and flags the dev servers left idle. It tracks coding agents and what is left of each AI plan (Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor and more), for every account signed in. An MCP server lets Claude Code or Cursor ask Vitals what is going on before they touch anything, and the vitals command answers in Terminal, as a table or as JSON.
Everything runs on the Mac, with no account. In 13 languages. Pay once, with a 3-day free trial of every feature.
