Droppy
Dynamic Island, file tray and clipboard for your Mac's notch
Jordy · $9.99 · macOS 14 Sonoma or later
About Droppy
Droppy turns the notch, or a Dynamic Island pill on a Mac without one, into a place to work. Drag files onto it to hold them on a shelf until you need them, keep your clipboard history a shortcut away, and control what's playing without switching apps.
It shows live activities the way an iPhone does: music with artwork and synced lyrics, timers, calendar events, AirPods and battery levels, meeting calls and screen recordings. On the new MacBook Pro it follows the shape of Apple's own camera island, and on a Mac without a notch or an external display it works as a Dynamic Island at the top of the screen.
Every part of Droppy is a droplet you can switch on or off, 41 in all: Thunderstorm (a launcher), Notes, Calendar, Pomodoro, Element Capture for screenshots, a floating music player, a lock screen with live activities and many more. The Droplet Store adds droplets made by other developers, who can build their own with DroppyKit.
Droppy is a native Mac app, notarized by Apple, and runs on Apple silicon and Intel. A license is a one-time purchase that covers two Macs, and the 3-day trial unlocks every feature without asking for payment details.
