About Padrail
Padrail turns the edges of a MacBook trackpad into sliders and shortcuts. Use the right edge for volume, the left for display brightness, and the bottom for keyboard backlight. The top edge adapts to the app, switching tabs, zooming, skipping tracks, seeking video, or changing desktops.
It runs from the menu bar with no Dock icon and supports adjustable edge width and sensitivity, haptic ticks, and a stationary pointer. Padrail is designed for MacBook users on macOS 13 Ventura or later, with support for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It has no account or analytics and checks online only for updates.
