About Render Room
Render Room is a native Mac workspace for converting video, GIF, and audio files. Drop in media, preview it, trim or edit it, choose export settings, and see an estimated output size before starting. It supports formats including MP4, MOV, GIF, MP3, M4A, WAV, and FLAC, with controls for size, frame rate, quality, audio, metadata, subtitles, and chapters.
Edit mode combines clips and photos on a timeline with trimming, splitting, ripple delete, cross dissolves, fades, background audio, and 16:9, vertical, square, or 4:5 canvases. Encoded samples and side-by-side comparisons help check results before full export. Render Room uses Apple's native media technologies, on-device Core ML models for AI upscaling and subtitle generation, and hardware-aware paths on Apple silicon Macs.
Converting, Edit mode, encoded samples, and side-by-side comparison are free. Render Room Pro unlocks GIF and audio export, WebM, MKV, and ProRes, AI upscaling, batch conversion, Watch Folder, LUTs and color tools, subtitle generation, and the advanced audio, metadata, and hardware controls.
