Slidr
Control Mac volume and brightness from your trackpad
Zaki Qadus · $4.99 · macOS 12 Monterey or later
About Slidr
Slidr lets Mac users adjust volume and display brightness by sliding along the edges of a built-in or Magic Trackpad. The right edge controls volume, the left controls brightness, with support for external monitors using DDC, haptic feedback, the native macOS HUD, fine control and cursor freezing.
The menu bar app also assigns trackpad edges to app switching, video scrubbing, media controls or keyboard brightness. Corner double-taps can mute the Mac or open the Screenshot toolbar, while additional options include palm rejection, adjustable edge widths, per-app pausing and a three-finger middle click. It requires macOS 12 or later and Accessibility permission.
