About Orbit Desktop
Orbit brings repositories, tasks, notes, documents, links, and project files into one local workspace for developers on macOS. Link existing folders, open them in your editor or terminal, and keep related repositories together without moving your source code.
It can turn rough notes into tasks, documents, and links with optional AI, connect through MCP to provide project context, and show GitHub or GitLab activity, dependency advisories, and project assets. Orbit is free for up to three projects; Pro adds unlimited projects for $29 per year.
